Loved seeing what we got from the bench today. That would’ve never happened in the Boeheim era. Kudos to Cuffe.

Copeland really establishing himself as a sparkplug off the bench. Benny played pretty well too. Good win.
I don't care how many players Oregon was short today, that goes in the "good win" category. To me, a big difference between 8-3 and 7-4. A neutral court win that a young team can build from. And as mentioned, lots of bench production.
You play the team that plays you. Syracuse won today. Period.
What a stat line Copeland had. And happy to see Benny finally get some real run and look good in his time on the floor.
In my preview for the season, I wrote that finishing the non-conference at 7-4 would be good. They are 8-2 with Niagara on Thursday. Getting to 9-2 outside the ACC would be very good, as LSU is outside the NET top 150 and Georgetown outside their top 200.
I would be happier with today's outcome if the bench players other than Brown (and a couple starters, frankly) had shown me previously that past results can predict future results.
