When Shafer was asked about Wilson and Dungey at the Saturday press conference, you can see Shafer go into this mode where the expression on his face and the tone in his voice says, "I'm gonna say this without being overly dramatic, but I want you to know ..."
Note that he was asked about Wilson AND Dungey and stays focused on Dungey in his response. When you look at the video, you have to get to about the 10:15 mark to hear the exchange. I really don't think there's any question after a response like that that Dungey is the next man up. I think this staff has found someone at QB, and I know I have used the term recently here, but that excites me beyond anything else.
