Putting aside questions about personnel and schemes, etc. Here are a couple that were flat out AWFUL and concern me about the smart of our staff.
1. The first on side kick was moronic. 11 minutes left down 21-9 and ND was coughing it up left and right. Way too early. Just a bad choice. But then....28-9 next possession and you go for a field goal from the 20? Strange (bad?) decisions.
2. Leaving important guys on the field with two minutes to go in a lost game. These were unforgivable. Hunt is limping all over. Take him out. Why risk him? And then Estime does in fact get hurt, re-aggravating his ankle injury. Under 2 minutes in a game that's over. Can't make those types of decisions.
