Richland (NJ) St. Augustine is home to defensive end Denis Jaquez who surprised many by opening up his recruitment late.
Today he signed with Syracuse. The new commitment now reunites with a good friend.
"My best friend who's like a brother to me is at Syracuse. That's always been our dream to play college ball together so that's one and just the school and team itself answers that. They a great organization who play at the highest level."
Who is that one friend though? It is the jewel of the last recruiting class for Syracuse.
"Darien Chestnut is my friend that is there, but we all call him Duce," Jaquez stated. "He loves it up there. He doesn't stop talking about it. He's told me that there young on the defensive line and that if I was to come that I would have a good chance of coming in and adding on to the team. Playing time is really Important to me in this decision."
