I had a chance to catch up with some offensive line prospects that Syracuse is looking at. Here is a quick update on their recruitments.
OL/DL Chris Adams:
"Recruiting is going well. I just got an offer from duke."
How is everything with Syracuse?
"I am still in contact with Syracuse. Our communication is on and off, but well respected."
Who is recruiting him the hardest?
"Old Dominion is recruiting me the hardest."
Does he have a list of top schools?
"I'm getting that together. I will have a list of favorites soon."
OT Tyler Maro:
"Recruiting is going great. I am still in regular contact with Coach Cavanaugh and Syracuse."
Have any new schools come in?
"New schools have not really come in."
His commitment date from the last time we talked is still the same.
"I am still planning to make a decision around the end of the season."
OT Armon Bethea:
Bethea is now up to 14 offers, was invited to play in the Army All-American game. He also just saw his rank rise from a two star/5.4 to a 3 star 5.6.
As usual with the offers coming in he is in no hurry.
“I’m still exploring options and will be taking as many visits as possible once this pandemic clears up,” Bethea said.
On another note Bethea has dropped 40 pounds in the last few months.
