This is exactly where Syracuse is in college football: a low-end Power 4 school that will get used as a stepping stool by some players and also be a landing spot for players who go to higher-end schools, but decide to leave for some reason (lack of playing time, get closer to home, etc.)
We saw the latter part a lot this past offseason with Wohlabuagh and all the DBs added to the program.

Totally agree, Jim. But there is a lesson to be learned from Duce and Carter. Hope they got big NILs.
I know. But, you have to convince the kids that it's the right decision, which is its own separate part.
Hopefully seeing will be believing if the staff can point to examples of how staying would've been better. Can't audition for the NFL w/o game reps.
