Syracuse lost half of their QB class for 2016 when Lindsey Scott, Jr. de-committed from Syracuse. It looks like Maryland will be a major player for Scott, espeically with 4* Dwayne Haskins all but flipped to Ohio State (announcement today at 4).
With that, a source close to the situation has told me that the staff is putting together a list of names that could potentially be vetted by the staff. They are gathering film as well and if anyone is worthwhile, they will make a late run at them.
